Celebrating Community Builders

Jane Jacobs

On May 5th the Banff Ideas Bank, Banff Community Foundation and the Town of Banff are co-hosting an event as a part of Jane’s Walk.  The walk starts at the Whyte Museum at 2:30 pm and will be led by honourary guides Dorothy Carelton and Rob Crosby.  The walk will take us from the Whyte to Central Park, along the Bow River Trail to the Crosby House and finishing at Windy Cabin.  It is an opportunity to share stories about: what makes Banff a wonderful place to live; some of the people who have made Banff special; and enjoying the opportunity to walk and talk with friends and neighbours.  The walk will finish back at the Whyte Museum in time for the Banff Community Foundation event – Celebrating Community Builders.  It starts at 4 pm and Mayor Karen Sorensen will host the event.  For more details call the Banff Community Foundation at 403-762-8549.
